The Rad Jesus mission is inspired by Rad's simple message: live bold, kind, and compassionate lives. We believe in fostering a community built on these ideals, and we strive to spread this message through our products and our actions. While we are passionate about creating and selling awesome apparel that embodies Rad's spirit, we also recognize the importance of walking Rad’s walk. Therefore, Rad Jesus donates 10% of net profits to support organizations that foster the Rad Jesus mission.
That said - and we want to be clear - we are a business, not a charity. Yes, your purchase is integral to our success, and we are so grateful to have you as a Rad fan and customer. However, if your goal is strictly to support a charity, we wholeheartedly encourage you to take your money and donate directly to a cause you believe in. We won't be offended—in fact, we'd be thrilled to know you're spreading Rad's message of love and compassion in such a meaningful way.
We're stoked that you have decided to join our community! We are Dan, Vani, and Leyla, a mixed-race, multi-religious family of the new millennium. Our journey began with a simple but powerful realization: Jesus's core message of love, kindness, and compassion is all-too-frequently twisted to justify the negativity, hate, and division so common in society today. Fortunately, a random encounter with Rad Jesus gave Dan, the "philosurfer" of the family, the message and motivation necessary to "flip the scriptures" on this cynical spirituality.
